PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS

  • So, what does being a member of Proof actually mean? It means you are tapped in to an incredible network of women who work in food throughout the Bay! But literally it means we add you to our email list and Slack channel so you can be in the know about our events and happenings. Proof is what you make it - we encourage you to come to an event, make friends, post in Slack, host an event, tell us all about you or your business.

  • Can I join Proof if I don’t live in the Bay Area? We love to support women in food everywhere, but our group thrives off of in person connection and is limited to full-time residents of the 9 Bay Area counties.

  • I’m not a member yet and want to attend an event. Can I purchase a ticket? If you meet our criteria for membership, please fill out the Membership form before purchasing a ticket.

  • Who leads The Proof Collective? Our current leadership team is led by Carly Hackbarth, and she is who you will likely communicate with online. Bebe Black Carminito facilitates our Cookbook Club events.

EXISTING MEMBERS

  • Can I bring a friend to an event? Seeing our community grow is our greatest joy. If you’d like to bring a friend who meets our criteria, we ask that you have them fill out the Membership form before inviting them to an event. We also ask that each individual purchases their own ticket so we can communicate effectively with all ticket holders.

  • I have an idea for or want to host an event. What should I do? Huzzah! We can’t wait to hear your idea and we are always looking for willing hosts. Please fill out this form and we’ll get in touch.

  • I want to attend a Proof event but the cost is out of my budget. Can you help me?  We aim to make every event available to all. However, certain fixed costs can drive ticket prices up for some events. Please reach out to us directly and we will do everything we can to create a ticket type that can work for you.

  • I’m sick or have a last minute reason for not attending an event. What should I do? Please contact us ASAP. We will always try as hard as we can to either sell your ticket to another member on the waitlist, or give you a refund. Please be aware that it is not always possible for us to give you a refund on short notice.
